In January 2024, Kate had now been in her cottage in the countryside for a full cycle of the sun.
She is beginning to get into the rhythm of the cycle of the seasons.
She began painting pale blossoms and petals again, inspired by the blush of light of the petals, breaking through the winter darkness.
The above work, "Mother's Milk | Winter Flowering Blossom in Jug" featured in a group exhibition, Dwelling of the Imagination at the Laurent Delaye Gallery, Ramsgate, in the Spring of 2024.
The art critic and writer Paul Carey-Kent interviewed Kate about this artwork.
The resulting piece of writing can be seen here.
